How to ski in all conditions
5 turn types
TURN 1 CARVING
Feel the force on outer ski
Common mistake: using the upper body, we move it into the inside of theturn and we loose the force on the outer ski, we do it instead of bending our knees.
TURN 2 SHORT TURN
Ideal for steeper terrain or narrow terrain, it's the best way to control speed.
The most common mistake is making it too short.
Flatten the ski so you can have a nice grip at the start of the turn.
TURN 3 MOGULL TURN
Keep the tip of the skis in contact with the snow, after jumping on top of the bump.
TURN 4 STIVOT TURN
You skid in the first half of the turn and then carve.
TURN 5 POWDER TURN
The most common mistake is trying to turn the skis too much.
