The novel coronavirus infects people of all ages.

 

Higher risk population:

people with a compromised immune system;

heart disease;

asthma;

lung disease;

respiratory diseases;

liver disorders;

kidney disorders;

diabetes;

any other systemic conditions debilitating general health.

 

Elderly people may therefore be at higher risk, as well as some children.

 

Family pets were not yet identified as infected  or transmitting.

 

Masks and goggles

Despite they don't assure 100% protection they are a good first barrier to the corona virus.

The way it's use is done is another complicated topic, because even health professionals using them routinely, don't use them adequately.
