Symptoms and signs:
Fever, cough and dispnea. There are a lot of other symptoms and signs, but these were, by far, the most common!
SEVERITY INDICATORS:
Dispnea is an indicator of severity.
Bilateral pneumonia.
Elevated D-dimer.
D-dimer testing is of clinical use when there is a suspicion of deep venous thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE) or disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC).
D-dimer (or D dimer) is a fibrin degradation product (or FDP), a small protein fragment present in the blood after a blood clot is degraded by fibrinolysis.
Some of the patients show linfopenia - decreased lymphocytes
C-reactive protein elevated
Erythrocyte sedimentation rate increased
LDH elevada
Incubation period 2 to 7 days
CBCT is very sensitive
