A obra Néctar é constituída por duas estruturas verticais gémeas, que resultam da montagem de milhares de garrafas de vinho, que são depois iluminadas a partir do interior.

A obra pertence à série Castiçais, núcleo de trabalhos que referenciam o primeiro ready-made de Duchamp - Porte-Bouteilles (1914) - e reporta aos prazeres da mesa e aos processos de identificação associados à gastronomia.

 

A primeira obra da série Castiçais - Message in a Bottle (2006) - foi apresentada no Japão e é constituída por garrafas de saké.

 

A última das obras da série - Blue Champagne - foi concebida com garrafas de champanhe para os jardins do Palácio de Versailles, onde a artista expôs em 2012.

 

 

The work Nectar consists of two twin vertical structures, which result from the assembly of thousands of wine bottles, which are then illuminated from the inside.

 

The work belongs to the Candlesticks series, a nucleus of works that refer to Duchamp's first ready-made - Porte-Bouteilles (1914) - and refers to the pleasures of the table and the identification processes associated with gastronomy.

 

The first work in the Candlesticks series - Message in a Bottle (2006) - was presented in Japan and consists of sake bottles.

 

The latest work in the series - Blue Champagne - was designed with champagne bottles for the gardens of the Versailles Palace, where the artist exhibited in 2012.
